We are passionate about serving at Riverview and offer a variety of ways to serve that will fit into any schedule. From serving once a week, once a month or once a quarter - everyone has a chance to give of their time and abilities. To find out about serving opportunities and to sign up, check out service opportunities below.

Sunday Serving Areas: Sunday is our biggest day at the church and a great time to serve. We have a variety of ways for you to get plugged in.  You can serve one Sunday a month - or choose to serve more or less often - find a place where you can meet the need and sign up to help today! 

Riverview Kids
Share God's love and have fun doing it!! No prep or curriculum planning.

Want to serve with our kids? We have two great options at both services every Sunday Morning.  Our Early Childhood volunteers work with our littlelest kids -  newborns through preschool.  Kid's Church volunteers serve those in Kindergarten through 6th grade. You are in for a lot of fun and lots of love!  To volunteer select the group you prefer: Nursery | Toddler, Pre-School | Kindergarten, OR Kid's Church.  

Worship & Tech
Singers, Instrumentalist, and Technology
Are you gifted in singing or playing an instrument? Are you interested in technology - running sound or projection? Fill out this application and send it to Pastor Brian Greutman at brian@riverview.cc, then sign up here to confim your interest in our Worship & Tech Team

Guest Services
Help connect, direct, share and create a welcoming environment.
Guest services is the face (and the welcoming hands) of the church to members and guests every week.  There are a variety of opportunities to serve including Greeters, Ushers, Welcome Kiosk, Kid's Check-In and Prayer Team. Volunteer for Guest Services and select the area you would like to serve.

During the Week Serving Areas: There are many areas to serve thorughout the week. Serve once a week, once a month or once a quarter -  the commitment and options to serve are limitless!  
Monthly Backpack Packing Party

Each month during the school year, Kent Rotarians and members of the community fill bags of food for distribution weekly to approximately 250 students on the free and reduced lunch program at 6 elementary schools in the Kent School District. Community Connections
Dedicated to building relationships and serving at Neely O'Brien Elementary.  
We serve the families and staff in various ways - Bible Kid's Club, Lunch Buddies, Classroom Helpers, Tutoring, Staff Appreciation. There are many days and time options available to help in Community Connections

Riverview Youth
Join the fun of sharing God's love with 7th-12th graders. 
Come along side Youth at our Wednesday evening service and at other events.  Read the Youth Staff information packet here and fill out the Youth Staff application here to apply. 

Office Support
Help prepare for Sundays and follow-up with visitors.
We have an unending need for Office Support volunteers during the weekdays.  Duties vary from data entry, assembling mailings, bulletins and flyers, supporting the church staff and other duties as assigned. If you are available during Church Office Hours (Monday through Thursday 9 am - 3 pm) volunteer for Office Support.

Help care for the church grounds and facility.
Help maintain the church landscaping and buildings. Very flexible serving days and times Grounds/Facility.
